MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this extremely rare and low mileage 1970 Lincoln Continental MK III. Inherited from their Grandmother, the original "Little old lady" from Reno owner who purchased the car new from Sierra Lincoln-Mercury, Inc., Reno 6/6/70 has remained in the same families loving car for the last 46 years!

The Lincoln Continental Mark III is a personal luxury car of the Lincoln Mark series, that was produced by Lincoln and sold in North America in the 1969 through 1971. There were only small changes for 1970. The vinyl roof was made standard, windshield wipers were now concealed, and the wheel covers were redesigned, radial tires were standard equipment (a first for an American car), and a locking steering column/ignition switch replaced the dash-mounted switch. The interior wood appliqués were upgraded to genuine Walnut. The door panels were redesigned and the power seat controls were moved from the seat edge to the door arm rests. The pattern of the stitching on the seats was modified.

Finished in a correct rich Chestnut metallic (code Y), this coupe shows extremely well with only minor imperfections visible upon close inspection. The hide-away headlights feature operates as designed All the trim is present, complete and displays normal wear. The front and rear bumpers fit is extremely tight and chrome finish is exquisite. The weather-stripping is pliable, with little or no signs of drying, tearing or shrinkage. The car has a slight window tinting that compliments and completes the "elegant" appearance. The dark tan vinyl top is in very good condition with only a few light spots. The original 15 inch wheels represent well with only slight signs of marring.

Inside, the rich Tobacco leather (code 2Z) front bucket seats and rear seats appear with normal with only slight wear spots normal for a car of this age. The matching dark tan door panels, carpet and dashboard are a compliment to the striking Chestnut exterior and looks fantastic. All gauges are ergonomically placed, have correct appearance and function as originally designed. The originally equipped steering is in excellent condition and functions as designed. The heater and air conditioning function as designed. Also, included power seats, power windows, cruise control, power locks and original AM/FM 8 track stereo, however, the power antenna is inoperable. Included is the original owner warranty information card, owners manual, copy of the window sticker and build sheet!

This nicely represented Continental comes equipped with an Autolite carbureted 460cid 350 V8 engine, mated to a 3-speed (C6) automatic transmission, 2.80:1 open ear differential, 4-wheel ABS (anti-brake system), 4 wheel disc brakes, power steering and power brakes. The wheels are 15-inch original Lincoln rims with Cooper whitewall tires.

This 1970 MK III was originally owned new by a "Little old lady" from Reno, then inherited by her grandchildren who continued the loving care until recently...now it's your turn to enjoy this well care for and maintained classic... GET OUT AND DRIVE!

Current mileage on the odometer shows 66,247 miles, It is sold as is on a clean & clear mileage exempt title.
