Denim jacket sewing tips. TWO Atenas Jackets (Itch to Stitch). Collab with TomKat Stitchery

Today I am sharing a project in collaboration with Whitney, from TomKat Stitchery, another great sewing channel. We both made the brand-new Atenas Jackets from Itch to Stitch. I am showing the sewing construction of the front and back pattern pieces, sharing my fit muslin / Toile and fitting adjustments. I may have made two! Whitney has made hers with thrifted denim (awesome!)

The Atenas is a jacket designed for medium weight wovens like Denim, Twill. Sizes O-20US with individual cup sizes A to DD. An amazing pattern!

My Specifics for Atenas Jacket
*Straight size 14, C cup
*Lengthened the sleeves by ½” at the shorten/lengthen line
*Customized the shape of the double princess seams to my upper bust shape
*Blue denim jacket top stitched with grey color
*Print flower jacket is a home décor 100% cotton medium weight. Top stitched with regular thread. See details here (out of stock) https://www.joann.com/home-decor-fabr... A similar fabric may be also adequate!
