Winter is Coming and we were anxious to set sail south for warmer waters. Given our 80' mast height there is no option but to sail outside around Cape Hatteras, often referred to as the Graveyard of the Atlantic. Come aboard as we sail out the Chesapeake Bay and confront surprisingly variable conditions and some mechanical challenges that arose at the most inopportune time.
