Harbor Freight Portable Garage Improvements: Movable, Secure, Protected and Affordable

10 x 17 portable garage with custom additions. I show you how to build this solo.

Benefits:
Protected: 2nd tarp is a sacrificial layer that protects from UV damage, yet is cheap enough to throw away every 1-2 years
Insulated: 2nd tarp insulates and prevents condensation
Secure: 2x4 frame allows you to hold down the structure from wind yet is not permanently anchored.
Movable: 2x4 frame is more rigid to allow 4 people to move the structure easily.
Cheap: all materials are affordable, yet you get a quality garage.

an impact driver and/or a screwdriver or a ratchet (slow)
a set of drill bits (titanium, carbide), ideally more suited to cutting metal.
$5 metal drilling fluid: https://www.amazon.com/Tap-Magic-2000... or really any oil lubricant you can use to prevent wear to your drill bits
4 3 inch long 1/4 inch wide lag screws (or regular screws if you want but ideally should be pan head with washers) and 8 1.5 inch long, 1/4 inch wide lag screws. get from hardware store like home depot.
socket set and a socket adapter if using an impact driver, if using lag screws not regular screws
4 6 ft long 2 by 4 lumber pieces. Even if old/worn pieces, it is fine.

Total cost: if you have the lumber and impact and socket set, drill bits already: $220
