This song is dedicated prayerfully to the churches in Papua New Guinea. May you "be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, persistent in prayer." (Rom 12:12)
This song holds a special place in my memories as a beloved hymn, sung many times in the various church services we went to throughout the Maprik area in East Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea.
This video was recorded for the funeral of Jim (Raphael) Markus, in April 2023. I want to honour this man who lived cruciform: FOR others -for his family, for his friends, and for his God.
