This was the second round of six in the Swiss Style format to determine once and for all which is better, a long sword or a sword and plank of wood/metal disc.
Coming off the high of achieving my goal in the first fight (not scoring 0) I had a wonderful fight against Ken. After Ken got me clean on the first two passes I think I managed to lock in and set the scene for the next few fights with a clearer focus on what I needed to do to win some exchanges. Amazingly on this fight I got my first of two wins out of the six fights.

Rebellion is a new competition series designed to complement the existing UK scene. It’s a bit different to the others in that it aims to cover weapons that are under-represented in the current tournament scene as well as individual and team mixed weapon fighting. It’s a chance to:
• Fight with weapons or companions you don’t usually get to compete with
• Discover or try something new
• Test your skills with the classics against different opponent weapons
• Fight as part of a team
