Today we are reviewing the latest Atowak, called Cosmofleet that now FINALLY has the same wandering hour movement like hyper watches from Urwerk and MB&F. With the implementation of a planetary gear sytsem with 44 parts done in titanium and rubies, they made a wandering hour complication that does both horizontal and vertical rotation while keeping the cages of the hour markers pointing at the same direction regardless of their position on the dial. As a result you truly get the impression of 3 spaceships flying in formation towards a common target, thus making the Cosmofleet name very appropriate!!
The base is a Miyota 9029 that instead of two hands has to power and move the whole system, thus making it neccesarry to make it as light and as frictionless as possible.
The watch sits really well on the wrist and being incredibly light simply dissapears weight wise. Due to an unorthodox shape it will not clear any cuffs, but then again, this is a watch that should be seen while worn as it is a true conversation starter.
