"Wash me, and comb me, leave me on the bank to dry... Softly, tenderly, to watch the passersby!" What would YOU do if a floating head came up out of a well and sang such an odd request to you? Ok, what about two more of the exact same request? Creepy, right? AWESOME too! A lot of "weirding" happens in this evening's fairytale "The 3 Heads of the Well," so do get comfy, cozy, and settled for the telling of it! Once upon a time... We follow one princess as she "Sets out to seek her fortune" not aided on AT ALL by her (of course) new Evil Stepmother. The princess, generous and kind, DOES attain her fortune... on DAY ONE! What luck! She meets the three heads of the well, helps them out, and they weird her beauty, fortune, and a great voice. She then right away meets the richest king of the land and they get married! Her stepsister is... not so lucky, of course. This is definitely a "diamonds and toads" or "Mother Holle" type fairytale for sure! Happily Every After! This tale, an old English fairytale, "The Three Heads of the Well," is read in a soft voice (soft-spoken) and set to some light and soft background music. I do hope you enjoy the this evening's once upon a time fairytale story!
