Journalist and Producer Karl Nelson sits down with Baltimore Native and Entrepreneur Joshua Manns to talk about the life and legacy of his late great father Joe Manns, the 30-plus year legacy of Joe Manns Awards (now known as Legacy Awards and Recognition), how his pops invested in people for decades ultimately turning a business that he started in his grandmother's basement into a staple and pillar in the Woodlawn, MD community, and how he is working diligently to carry that legacy forward today.
Karl and Josh also discuss the Street Dedication Ceremony that was held in May in honor of the 1st Annual Joe Manns Day in Woodlawn as well as the significance of Josh's young sons unveiling the "Joe Manns Ave" street sign in front of the community on that special day.
