Putting my Hardy Marksman 10ft 4# fly rod though its paces while fishing a team of spiders on the Welsh Dee for grayling. It had been a very cold start but as the day warmed I noticed the odd olive hatching close to the far bank of the Long Meadows Pool on the Welsh Dee near Llangollen. Often the best way to fish that area is with a team of spiders fished across and down river because it's too deep to reach by fishing upstream.
