How to Finish a Neckline Facing without Overlocking

This week it's sewing tutorial time and I'll show you a lovely technique for finishing a neckline facing without using overlocking stitches. This is a great technique if you're making something special and want a super clean finish inside the garment or if you find overlocker stitches scratchy or annoying in this area or are worried about seeing them through the fabric. It is also helpful for anyone who doesn't have an overlocker, but would rather not use the overcasting stitch on their sewing machine for this task.

It is a little more time consuming, but is super satisfying (in my opinion - you may beg to differ!)
