Goryos Vengeance Farms Boros Bozo | Modern | Paper Gameplay

Today we have Matt back in the Dojo running his boros energy deck against the look Goryo's Vengeance using Quantum Riddler. Boros Energy is the boogeyman of the format, using low mana cost creatures like Guide of Souls and Ocelot Pride to kill your opponent quickly while gaining life. The deck also uses Ajani, Nactl Pariah and Goblin Bombardment as a mid to late game finisher to accelerate your clock.

On the other end, we have the hero, Goryo's Vengeance. This deck looks to use discard effects like Psychic Frog or Tainted Indulgence to discard an Atraxa or Griselbrand to reanimate with Goryo's Vengeance, gain too much of an advantage for your opponent to come back from before killing them with your 7/7 fliers. This specific version is running Quantum Riddler to give the deck more play into the early to mid-game before finding the combo to kill.
