Hey y’all, welcome back to Ray Mack’s Kitchen and Grill!
Today we’re making a good old-fashioned Southern Pepper Steak Stew — tender stew beef simmered down with onions, sweet peppers, and savory seasonings. This dish is perfect over white rice or mashed potatoes. Comfort food at its best!
Ingredients:
Stew beef
Onions
Sweet peppers
Beef broth or water
Soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce
Dales Seasoning Marinade
Garlic, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and a touch of brown sugar
Cornstarch (for thickening)
Directions:
1. Season and brown your beef.
2. Add onions, peppers, and broth.
3. Simmer until tender.
4. Thicken the gravy and serve over rice or potatoes.
