In this video, Dr. Berg talks about double diabetes. This is a situation whereby you have type 1 diabetes (the body is not making insulin) AND insulin resistance (where the cells are not taking in insulin). This causes you to take in way too much insulin and insulin is very damaging to the eyes, the heart, the brain, nervous system, and kidneys.

Insulin has a purpose of lowering sugar, so you must not consume sugars and keep your carbs low as well as soy oil, MSG, fructose (esp agave nectar), refined grains, etc.)
