Indonesia | Bali, Canggu, Ubud & Nusa Penida

Fort the first time, I was travelling outside the Philippines without my husband. This time, I travelled with my officemates, so there was no shortage of good company. We travelled during the early stages of the pandemic back in February of 2020, when everyone thought this was all going to pass quickly. This was the time before strict border controls and lockdowns were put in place in Indonesia and in the Philippines. Both countries were hardly hit by COVID-19. We have been at home in the last 12 months observing social distancing and keeping ourselves informed about the current situation. You'll see in this video how much tourism contributes to the local economy in the region of Bali, Indonesia. Though we cannot travel yet at this time, may this video inspire you to travel to Bali, whether you're coming back or seeing it for the first time, to help the locals recover from the devastating economical damage from COVID.
