ABANDONED PALACE in SOUTH PHILIPPINES - This FREAKED ME OUT! (Tboli Episode 3)

TBOLI, SOUTH COTABATO: In the 1960s, a Chinese business mogul called Antonio Nocum came to the then relatively unexplored town of Tboli in the southern Philippines. He wanted to monopolize the tribe and farm all of the land there. He set up the largest cattle ranch in all of Asia at the time, with Brahman cattle raised for export to Australia.

Not much is known of what happened next, but it didn't work out, and he just left behind these ruins for the community to attempt to do something with - Yes, there's a Tboli community here!

And it was CREEPY! It freaked me out! Even the land looks like it is tilted and falling off the Earth.

But first, we trek back up from Lake Holon, and visit the Valleys of the Gods in neighbouring Barangay Tudok. I really want to delve deeper into the Valley soon.
