Full build of the Ford Model A Standard Phaeton with Soft Top from ICM. It is in 1/24 scale, and I built a cobblestone road base to show it off.
The Ford model A is an American passenger car that was first presented to the public in 1927. Its serial production began in the same year and continued until 1931. About 4.9 million copies of this car were produced in its course. The car, apart from the USA, was also manufactured in Great Britain, Germany, Denmark and the USSR.
The Model A was developed and implemented into mass production as the successor to the legendary T model offered by the Ford concern. Compared to its predecessor, it differed in many elements. First of all, it was significantly enlarged and its own weight increased. It was also powered by an engine with almost twice the maximum power. It also had a significantly improved styling, which appealed to the tastes of contemporary customers. There were also richer basic and additional equipment. The Ford model A very quickly became one of the most popular passenger cars in the United States, and its sales were not stopped even despite the Great Depression of 1929.
