Paparazzi Clash with Sabrina's Guards in Shocking Showdown

Sabrina Carpenter stopped at the BBC studios in London for an appearance. When she arrived, she was greeted by dozens of fans and paparazzi.

But things got a little out of hand as she exited her vehicle. A determined man from the paparazzi appeared to attempt to push around Sabrina’s security to get a photo. As the bodyguard stepped in, the photographer shoved him out of the way so he could get his picture.

Quite a bit of jostling went on between the two men, resulting in some of the waiting fans being struck in the face by the umbrella Sabrina’s Security was using to shield Sabrina from unwanted photos.

I ALWAYS teach that the most vulnerable times for a principal to be attacked or inconvenienced are when they are getting into and out of vehicles (embus/debus). As close protection agents, we must be most on point in this area.

I am of the opinion that the bodyguard was well within his right to claim the space so that his principal could get into the building safely. He was also within his right to defend himself once the photographer touched him. However, bodyguards do not have the right to initiate contact first unless the person is an imminent threat.
