At the November 20, 2025 Commission meeting, The Commissioners, Ex-Officios and Executive Director Tina Griffin congratulated Commissioner Anders Ibsen on his successful election as the incoming mayor of Tacoma, Washington. Ibsen has served on the Commission since 2023, and was Deputy Mayor of Tacoma from 2012 to 2019.
