We finally hit some clear weather and we’re straight on the skis - things are looking up, finally.
And yet, things escalate quickly…real quickly.
The paranoia of officially being on croc country sets in as we hit a sea of brown, murky water, the entire way to Gloucester encompassed by mangroves left, right and centre.
Bowen had just gone through a monsoon and it meant the waterways were stirred up, there was debris everywhere.
