How To Make Metal Feathers: using basic tools

In this video, I will teach you some simple metalworking techniques with how to create these simple feathers from A to Z using basic tools that are readily available to anyone with a garage and a modest budget.

Here's a list of the items you will need:

1.A grinder with a 120-grit sanding disk and a metal cutting disc.
2.A torch with a propane tank or your barbecue tank. You can find many different models available on Amazon.
3.A 1/16-inch thick metal plate measuring 8 inches by 8 inches.
4.A drill bit and a drill.
5.A punch and a hammer.
6.A Dremel with a rotary engraving bit (a diamond bit is best for this purpose), although this tool is optional.
7.A can of satin finish clear coat.
8.Rubbing alcohol.
9.A microfiber cloth.
10.1-inch by 1.5-inch wood pieces or a flat wood plank for scraping.
11.For safety, a visor or, with preferably, protective eyewear.
12. A mask for spraying aerosols. There are many less expensive models available on Amazon for outdoor spraying (not recommended for indoor use).
13.Work gloves and rubber gloves fro spraying.
14.C-clamp.
