Super Mario World - 97 Exits (Funky secret exit)

Or it would be, if Nintendo included this in the US version's title screen exit count (it stops at 96 and doesn't go any higher).

It took quite some time to figure out how to do this, mainly because of invisi-Yoshi being weird, though some were errors on my part from forgetting to get on invisi-Yoshi or taking the wrong sprite slot. At least it worked out in the end!

Since this exit was found, there have actually been a number of other unintended exits discovered as well, making for 108 total possible exits. Like this one, the exits will only count toward the exit count in the Japanese version, though with a glitched value (e.g. http://i.imgur.com/CM4h1yb.png), but will cap at 96 in all other releases.

Levels like Top Secret Area (which have no event set) won't count, and getting a secret exit in levels other than the ones above won't count towards the total (usuaully because of that "exit" being already counted as a normal exit somewhere else). Theoretically, there are three more possible: the SW2, SW3, and SW4 Star Warps. But currently, there isn't any way to get to them with the current set of glitches available.
