Grant and Phil return from a night on the town (and we got hindsight to know this is true). The brothers are confused when they find the police at their home. Sharon tells them Eddie has been murdered. Some of the square witness them being driven away by the police, including the real killer Nick Cotton. Grant is nervous in the police station room. He is interviewed by D.C.I Chapman and she angers him quite easily which is her job. Bringing up his past and even the fact he's been trained to kill. She mentions his rejection from the army for being unstable. Grant protests his innocence and says he wants to go home. Which results in him being arrested on suspicion of killing Eddie Royle. His full name is confirmed as well in this episode as 'Grant Antony Mitchell'. 17th September 1991.
