Testing Out The “GOLD REAPER” Sluice.

After searching for a bazooka style sluice online, I stumbled across the “Gold Reaper” on eBay. This is a prospecting product that I no longer thought was being produced. To my surprise there was brand new ones available and it arrived to me within a week of purchase. I fixed my leaky wader boots, gassed up the truck, and set off into the mountains of Vermont for a test run of the reaper. Gold prospecting in the winter is a challenge that involves chipping ice, frozen shovels, slushy iced up water filter bags, and short days. It sure beats the couch though!
