NC Department of Transportation held a ribbon cutting for the new Military Cutoff Road Extension. The 4-mile extension, which boasts a 8-foot multi-use path, connects Market Street to NC 140. Eventually, it will connect to the Hampstead Bypass, creating a new corridor between New Hanover and Pender counties.
