Northern Winter Wonderland Maine Overland Trip

In March, while most of New England begins to thaw, winter still clings to the remote corners of Northern Maine. This three-day overland expedition—deep into the North Woods—was a true test of preparation, teamwork, and grit. Led by 207 Overland, a group of six rigs braved snow-covered trails, freezing temperatures, and unpredictable conditions to explore one of the most rugged and wild regions in the Northeast.

From lakeside camps blanketed in snow to riverside firepits and impromptu recoveries, this adventure captures what overlanding in the north is all about—community, exploration, and pushing beyond comfort zones.
