Alison Wright discusses her surprise return to 'The Americans' and standout role on 'Feud: Bette and Joan' with Gold Derby editor Chris Beachum. For that spy drama, she had not been seen during the current fifth season other than a brief glimpse until the episode airing May 3 brought a surprising return. Philip's boss Gabriel (Frank Langella) visited her to gain some amount of peace about the decision, but she would not provide it to him. Wright was also recently on FX in "Feud: Bette and Joan" for the supporting role as Pauline, assistant to "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?" director Robert Aldrich.
