Let The Mayhem Begin
Bunny, Weenie and Pig find the Bear for the first time, and put it back in hibernation after it chases after them, meanwhile the British space agency is preparing to fire Monkey off into space, to take over a planet. Monkey doesn’t go far and crash lands in the forest, where He immediately claims the land to be Monkeyopia. Soon after Monkey meets Skunky, who agrees to help him in his quest to take over the woods. Here we see Skunky's lab and all of his inventions.

In February, we get our first look at Action Beaver. he attempts to steal Pig's pudding for Skunky, only to fail. In March, Weenie tells Bunny about Le Fox, who lives in the dark corner of the woods. Bunny tries to recruit him, but At first Bunny is told to scram and to get away, but after telling Le fox that a Monkey is causing trouble Le fox joins. Soon after we are introduced to Metal Steve, Skunky's robot, Who, after a failed attempt to destroy Bunny, Pig and Weenie, we he learn that he enjoys swimming.

in April we see The kakapo birds as well as King kakapo, who are working for Monkey before Bunny convinces them to join him. A few weeks later we see Bunny B for the first time, who convinces Skunky to invent something for him and attempts to take over the woods. This fails, however.

Journey to the centre of the Eurgh-th
In august we hear many different versions of Le fox's backstory, all are proven false in a later book. We also see Pipi for the first time, where he is on the run after hearing about the motorway being built through the woods. Monkey kidnaps Pipi and asks Skunky to build an invention around it, to which he builds the hamster ball 3000. after being freed by going to fast fall the invention to handle, Pipi escapes, and continues running.

2 weeks later, Skunky brings the doomsday device out of his lab, to which he brings out the smarty helmet in order to deduce the key code needed to start the device. however, Action beaver accidentally puts it on, turning him into a genius. He goes away from Monkey and Skunky. After talking to Pig and Weenie, he starts reading, to which Bunny finds him. Action beaver tells Bunny he will be leaving the woods, due to it being to small for his intellect. Before he can, however, Skunky finds him and traps him in a net in order to take back his smarty helmet. Action beaver attempts to escape using rocket boosters that he attached onto the helmet, only to overload the helmet and cause it to explode. just before it gets completely destroyed, Skunky gets him to decipher the code as the last thing he does as a genius. However, when Skunky puts in the code, the machine explodes, due to one of Pig and Weenie's lemon puff biscuits being jammed into a ventilation pipe. The reason for this is only revealed later on.
