Built only two years after IHC entered the tractor market. This 1908 model is the only known surviving 12hp International Friction Drive tractor in Canada. They where offered in 10, 12, 15 and 20hp models. It uses the well known single cylinder, horizontal IHC "Famous" four stroke, water cooled, hit and miss cycle stationary engine mated to a frame developed by S.S. Morton in 1889. It has one speed forward and reverse. The engine had a bore of 7 inches and a stroke of 12 inches and developed 12 horsepower at 300rpm. The frame was designed to use nearly any engine made in that era, but International was the only one to be successful placing their engine on the Morton truck. Owned by the Reynolds Alberta Museum of Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Filmed at the 2013 World Plowing Championship, Canada.
