This video contains three matches I had with the recently released LV1 Silhouette Gundam Kai on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 750 cost general with great aerial mobility, incredible stagger accumulation, LV1 Damage Control, access to an infinite thrust touchpad power-up alongside really good mid-range DPS. It suffers from only having one instant stun without charging, being unable to chain downswings together alongside having pretty poor melee ability in general. This video was made possible by my friend go_already, who allowed me to use his account to record this footage. He also selected the music and suit colours for this video. I hope that you enjoy watching!
Its primary weapon is a beam machine gun with 700x5 (3000) power, 9%x5 (80%) heat, 0.5 seconds cooldown, 14 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 350m range, 1.5 seconds focus time and 20%x5 (%) stagger value. This has really high DPS and good stagger accumulation. It can focus to instant stagger.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 2900 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.4 seconds swap time, 70% combo modifier and 120%x2 downswing modifier. This has a similar moveset to the Dahgi Iris, but it is too slow to chain a downswing into another downswing. It benefits from LV2 Aerial Melee.
Its first sub weapon is a head vulcan gun with 70x2 power, 60 ammo, ??? RPM, 10 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 200m range, ???? DPS and 4%x2 stagger value. This can stagger enemies relatively quickly, it's good for when the MACSS Off skill is cooling down.
Its second sub weapon is a pair of VSBRs with 1600x2 (2300x2) power, 40%x2 (85%) heat, 3.5 seconds cooldown, 16 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap time, 350m range, 2.5 seconds focusing time and 20%x2 (50%x2) stagger value. These work similarly to the F91 VSBRs, charge shots pierce, ignore beam shields and can break MA in one shot. However, the uncharged mode is a two shot burst without ASL, the charge shot has ASL, unlike the F91. Neither mode needs to stop to fire.
Its third sub weapon is a machine cannon with 200 power, 60 ammo, 600 RPM, 13 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 300m range, 2% stagger value and 2000 DPS. This cannot stagger or be used while boosting, but it has high DPS and lots of ammo. It's hard to find a good time to use these.
Its fourth sub weapon is a grenade launcher with 800x4 power, 4 ammo, 8 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 300m range and 50%x4 stagger value. These have high power, great stagger accumulation and reticle guidance.
Its fifth sub weapon is a beam shield with 6000 HP, 2500 power, 17 seconds overheat time and 0.33 seconds swap time. This is a pretty standard beam shield, you can deploy it and use it to block shots, parry swings or hit enemies. It is a bit thinner than other beam shields though, so it sometimes isn't totally effective at blocking incoming fire.
The LV1 Silhouette Gundam has 25000 HP, 25 ballistic resist, 31 beam resist and 30 melee resist. It is slightly more durable than other mini MS, having durability and stagger resistance that is similar to the Crossbone X1. It has LV2 Emergency Evasion, LV1 Damage Control and LV1 Maneuver Armor for defensive skills.
In terms of mobility it has 145 walking speed, 225 boost speed, 75 thrust and 78 turning speed. Its normal mobility is slightly lower than other miniature MS, with it being out-sped by the F91 and Crossbone X1, and that is before you consider their touchpad activated power-ups. It has LV3 Forced Injector, LV4 Flight Control and LV2 Flap Booster for mobility boosting skills.
It has access to a unique skill called LV1 MACSS Off, it is activated via the touch-pad and lasts for 30 seconds, it has a 40 seconds long cooldown and causes your thrusters to overheat for twice as long as is normal after it ends. While activated, it grants infinite thrust, reduced damage taken while boosting, improved mobility, 10% extra damage alongside the ability to fire the VSBRs, beam rifle and arm grenades while boosting.
In conclusion, I feel that the Silhouette Gundam Kai is pretty powerful. It has pretty incredible stagger accumulation, which is a really good fit for a meta which revolves around flying suits, the Silhouette can just shoot them down easily. The ability to just straight up gain unlimited thrust for 30 seconds is great too, you can just activate it right when the fighting starts and cause chaos, all while the F91 and two Crossbones need to fulfil specific conditions before being able to use their own touchpad power-ups. It has the pretty obvious weakness of having awful melee ability. In terms of playstyle, it feels more support-like than the actual 750 support Neo Gundam. I could see this suit joining the meta without many issues. Just be wary of rolling for it, since there is a good chance that Barbatos Lupus is coming next week. Thanks for watching!
