【OUTDOOR】Free Things to Do in NYC with Kids | We kayaked on the Hudson River!

The pier along the westside is always a great spot to hang out with kids, not crowded and lots of space, nature and activities. Stumbled upon FREE kayaking on the hudson river. Sort of knew about this but since I'm not a water person I wasn't interested but it was actually kinda fun! Unfortunately ends next weekend (Oct 18? or 19?) but they are generally open May 1 to end or mid October.

📕 Didn't really see public bathrooms although Pier 97 will soon have new public bathrooms. Rio is 5 and was able to sit still on the kayak. Not sure if I would've done it when she was 4...
