This was my strategy:
1. Have Phenn always cast his ultimate when it's level 3 to reduce damage taken.
2. Have your hero cast Dother's Charity and in the next round take either Rejuvenating Jam or Reinvigorating Jam to charge the parties ultimates to level 3.
3. I used my hero, Cyrus, Alexia and Reime to damage the boss with their ultimates. Use every opportunity to damage him. It doesn't matter if he still has shields. Also ignore the orbs. Phenn's shield should be enough to reduce damage.
4. Don't forget to reduce the bosses shield before he is able to cast his ultimate.
