The Commemoration of Dr. Hormoz Hekmat with Dr. Ali Banuazizi

A commemoration event honoring the late Dr. Hormoz Hekmat, a scholar, activist, thinker, and patriot. Dr. Ali Banuazizi, the Director of the Program in Islamic Civilization and Societies and Chair of the International Studies Academic Advisory Board at Boston College, reflects on the work and contributions of Dr. Hormoz Hazmat.

The event was organized on November 5, 2023 and included in-person and pre-recorded talks from notable scholars as well as a few family members. The event was in Persian and English.
