পাকিস্তানে বিরোধী দল তেহরিকই-ইনসাফের বিক্ষোভ মিছিল চলাকালে দেশটির সাবেক প্রধানমন্ত্রী ইমরান খানের ওপর বন্দুক হামলার ঘটনা ঘটেছে। খানের নেতৃত্বে ইসলামাবাদ অভিমুখে যাওয়া মিছিলের সময় লাহোরের কাছে ওয়াজিরাবাদে এই গুলির ঘটনা ঘটে। তিনি আহত হয়েছেন। তার পিটিআই পার্টির সদস্যরা বলেছেন আজ বৃহস্পতিবার মিছিলে এই গুলির ঘটনায় আরও চারজন আহত হয়েছে। দলের পক্ষ থেকে বলা হচ্ছে কার্যত তার প্রাণনাশের চেষ্টায় লাহোরের কাছে মিছিলের সময় তার ওপর গুলি চালানো হয়েছে। তবে কেউ মারা যায়নি।
Pakistan's former Prime Minister Imran Khan was shot at during a demonstration by the opposition Tehreek-e-Insaaf. The firing took place in Wazirabad near Lahore during a procession led by Khan towards Islamabad. He is injured. Members of his PTI party said four more people were injured in the firing incident at the rally today. The party said that in an attempt to kill him, he was fired upon during a rally near Lahore. But no one died.
