Fun facts!
I had this song sitting in the back of my head since the start of TI4 (originally, I was going to release it before my legion commander cosplay debut :P). I was very ambitious about how it would look though, so I didn't get around to making it until I had everything planned out. The lyric "Mysterious as when pit lord will arrive" had changed from "Mysterious as whether we'll have diretide" to "Mysterious as when techies will arrive," but of course, as news got released - those had to be scrapped!
I was going to draw an entire story to the song but in the end - as you can see - I got lazy. I've forgiven myself though because, to be honest, I got a bit tired of the idea and wanted to move on to other things. I also feel like Enigma's struggle is more or less conveyed through these shitty in-game scenes lol.
I've scrounged the internet for a nice clean karaoke version of this song but believe it or not - it does not exist! This version was the best one I found and it unfortunately still has a trombone in the background sounding the melody - so, apologies for the quality of the instrumental this time around.
Of course, everything in-game was recorded in a local lobby, toggled between normal and inspection mode. Learned a lot of useful cheats/commands thanks to this!
