How to Assemble a Husqvarna Backpack Blower

To begin assembly, connect the blower and swivel joint with the flexible hose. Clamp both ends of the flexible hose securely with the hardware supplied with the unit. Set up the throttle holder with the swivel and tighten the screw on the holder. When setting up the holder, make sure to match the raised section on the swivel joint with the matching indentation on the throttle clamp. Adjust the position and angle to achieve a comfortable working position and tighten the throttle lever.

Next, use the metal clamp to fasten the corrugated tube containing the throttle cable and the power cable to the hose. Align the protrusion in the groove provided on the two bands and twist the tube until the connection is locked.

The harness must always be worn while working with the backpack blower. Failure to do so means you will be unable to maneuver it safely. Adjust the harness to give the best working position. Tighten the shoulder straps so the pressure is evenly distributed across the shoulders. Place the waist belt around your waist and tighten until you feel the weight of the blower resting on your hip.
