ELDEN RING - Bayle The Dread RL1 Scadu+0 Solo No Hit

Long fight. I'm still not sure I chose the correct weapon. It was either this or the Cleanrot Knights sword. I just stubbornly kept using this after I got it set up as I didn't want to feel like it was wasted.

Anyway this run started off poorly, my brain was off after a number of attempts and I was actually distracted by the youtube video I was watching showing some interesting things. So the opening I did subpar - the very first move should have been a charged R2. Thankfully the three R1s ended up being better damage wise so it ended up well. And then at 1:10 I did a fully charged R2 when I shouldn't have - it should have been a normal R2. That was when I slapped myself to focus!

The real boss in this fight... Is keep in the right position in front of his face. This solves the boss's add - the Camera. You can see a result of that failure a couple of times (3:37 as the main example). Luckily I got used to his movements to still get a good feel for what he is pulling out.

I feel I got really bad patterns here. Especially Phase 2 - so many of his two big flying moves. I once had a run get to 1/5th of his health in so much less time as he gave me the good punish moves. There are still two I'm afraid to punish which you can see here, the one that starts with the double bite, and the other that does a swipe that goes into a bite. After those he can swipe his head up, and either stop, or continue into a fire breath or an electric swipe. But that head swipe is so fast I can't react to it, so I always assume it. Safety at the risk of openings. I wish I learned what the positioning is for him to pull it out.
Similar for the move that starts of with the roar into a few swipes. Sometimes he will jump away at the end and breathe fire, sometimes he doesn't. Wish I knew what controlled that.

The final thing for me to figure out was to figure out his flying double fire breath move. After finally giving in and removing lock on, and learning to dodge the second pass to the side, did it become free.
