Pakistani Spy Caught in Russia Trying to Steal Top Secret S-400 Missile Tech | GD Bakshi Explains

Russian counter‑intelligence agencies have reportedly uncovered and dismantled a spy network linked to Pakistan’s Inter‑Services Intelligence that aimed to steal highly sensitive Russian military technology, including data related to the S‑400 air defence missile system and other defence systems, in St. Petersburg. Authorities arrested a local national caught attempting to smuggle out classified documents tied to advanced air defence and military helicopter technology. The operation is believed to be one of the first known espionage attempts by the ISI on Russian soil and has raised serious security concerns in Moscow. The alleged plot comes months after India’s military used Russian‑made S‑400 systems in Operation Sindoor, and New Delhi is reportedly planning to acquire additional units of the system, underlining the global significance of this cutting‑edge defence tech.
