Farah Bagh was part of a palace complex built 450 years ago in the Nizam Shahi period in Ahmednagar. The eight-sided royal residence is presently in ruins. Since the palace was built before Humayun's Tomb, locals in Ahmednagar believe the palace inspired the Taj Mahal.
