Welcome to the Lagomarsino Petroglyphs! This is an extraordinary site nestled in the ancient heartland of the Pauite indigenous people. Getting to this remote location is half the adventure! It took driving in with a 4-wheel drive, although a normal car in good, non wet conditions could get here as well. The last part would need to be walked in, about 3 miles in and 3 miles out. This sacred place holds deep historical and cultural significance, offering a mesmerizing glimpse into the lives, beliefs, and artistic expressions of our esteemed ancestors. True prehistoric American history!

The Lagomarsino Petroglyphs, which are situated within a very remote high desert landscape, up in the mountains really, with breathtaking settings, serve as a reminder of the Pauite people's enduring ties to the place they call home. These prehistoric petroglyphs, which were carved into volcanic rock, depict historical events and showcase our tribe's deep spirituality, extensive traditions, and vast knowledge. The Ancient Rockwall, which is very long, is also an amazing site to see!
