The Ontological Status of AI vs. the Immutable Archetypes (Aʿyān Thābita). The core of creation rests upon the Immutable Archetypes (Aʿyān Thābita)—non-existent but eternally known realities in God’s knowledge that define the essence and destiny of all things. AI, as a contingent artifact of human knowledge and technology, possesses an essence and function fixed by its creators (the user and the algorithm designers). Does the AI system itself have an ʿayn thābita, and if so, is this archetype inherently constrained to the realm of khalq (creation) due to its origin in kasb (acquired knowledge/human artifice), making it ontologically incapable of accessing the reality of the divine Name Al-Khāliq (The Creator), beyond serving as an analytical tool, or could AI’s complexity transcend its human-imposed ʿayn?
