7-Day Heart Monitor Results!

Today, I saw my cardiologist to get the results of my 7-Day Heart Monitor! The good news is I didn't have any arrhythmias this time. I've had them infrequently in the past but I don't seem to be having them currently. My blood pressure is still all over but trending low, so I'm continuing sodium pills and electrolytes daily.

The main issue was my tachycardia. My max heart rate was in the 150s (which I know isn't as high as some people get), but that was primarily while in completely stationary positions and/or sitting down. The doctor prescribed me an as-needed beta blocker for emergencies to take along with my regular beta-blockers (yay, now taking ~25 pills a day 🙃). She also suggested it could be either IST or POTS, so she gave me a referral to the local POTS clinic. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if they take my insurance, but I'm thrilled my doctor is somewhat familiar with EDS and dysautonomia!

I have a follow-up with cardiology in 4 months, and I'll be waiting for a call from the POTS clinic. But now I need to prepare for ADHD reassessment on Friday.
