Every year in celebration of Chinese Lunar New Year, we have A Chinese Prosperity Cake, Fa Gao (發糕), a Chinese Lunar New Year Cake. Fa Gao is typically enjoyed by the Chinese because phonetically, it sounds like "Expand higher" or "發高 " meaning each year, you grow quickly in all that you do - whether it is career, life, or school. These are eaten during Lunar New Year in hopes that you will grow more prosperous each year. This is a Chinese Lunar New Year staple, and I hope you make this with us! It is super simple! #shorts
