Left 4 Dead Is GREAT

Left 4 Dead will always have a special place in my heart. This was the first zombie game I ever played and because of that, I simply thought I only liked it out of nostalgia. But oh hot damn was I wrong. I recently played this game after it remained dormant in my library for almost a decade and I have to say, this game has aged like a fine wine.

With some of the most engaging combat systems and a really addictive gameplay loop, I am shocked that I haven't been playing this game all along. Now yes, there are issues with this game and in many ways it's not the most perfect zombie game out there currently. With games like Project Zomboid, Dayz and Dying Light all being "technically" better but Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 were able to capture lightning in a bottle here.

This video could honestly be titled "Babbling Hobbit Writes Love Letter to Left 4 Dead" and that would probably be a more accurate title for what youre about to consume.
