How to Navigate Your Career Search | Job Accelerator WorkFaith Testimony

Learning can take place at any age; you are not too old to navigate your career search with a job accelerator program at WorkFaith. Listen to Vicki’s story as she was apprehensive at first and was not sure if she would learn anything new but was blown away by the binder full of knowledge she has gained from the instructors and career coaches who invested in the Job Search Accelerator program and students. You are enough where you currently are to learn how to navigate a career search.

Vicki’s Transcript:
I have been looking for a job for a year. I have held my faith in The Lord that He has a plan for me, and my daughter was looking a job at the same time and I was on KSBJ and listening to Carlos and Morgan. They were describing WorkFaith and I thought, “this is perfect for my daughter”. My daughter needs to do this. I was driving at the time so I couldn’t write down the web address but I got to the HEB parking lot and I was looking for a piece of paper and I had nothing in the car, but I found this little receipt so I wrote, “WorkFaith”. I didn’t have any access so I wrote, “WorkFaith”, on this ripped piece of paper and I placed it in my console so when I got home so I could look for it and get my daughter involved. As it turns out, my daughter did get a position and I forgot about WorkFaith. I was grabbing from my console all the paper napkin to go throw it away and as I did, this little piece of paper fell into my lap. That message was never meant for my daughter, I wasn’t listening to God, but He told me, “WorkFaith”. I signed up and to be able to start on Monday was amazing. I learned so much and I am grateful to have the opportunity to learn so much which I am so grateful because I didn’t think I would learn anything. I have a binder filled with everything I learned. I want to thank the instructors and coaches.
