Minecraft Nostalgia

Do you remember?

Remember the way your first hole in the ground or dirt hut felt, no matter how flimsy, it was your home. It kept the monsters away.

Remember any time you placed another crafting bench next to a furnace, or vice versa? The original setup for all Minecraft players?

Remember getting lost in your world, monsters beginning to spawn, the sunset, while beautiful, signaled possible death?

Remember the narrow escapes from them as you closed the door behind you, feeling the most secure you could have ever been?

Remember when the most exiting thing in your life was riding your bike home from school, to get on Minecraft, or even just hang out with any of your friends?



Maybe... Maybe things are bad now... Maybe your life sucks.

Maybe you feel your childhood days slipping away, and you feel just like a cog in the machine turning without any resistance, as the days go by.

Maybe you remember your friends, and how happy you all were.


Maybe...


Maybe we can live in the moment once more?

Maybe we can make new friends, reconnect with old ones?

Maybe we can feel like kids again, even if you're older now!

There's so much to life, eventually, we might be nostalgic of these days, and we will look back and say, "Why didn't I do anything then? Why was I just sad? Why didn't I keep the memories in my mind, using them to fuel new ones?"

So.. what made us kids?



Living in the moment. Just keep the good memories in store, never let go, but just don't think about them too much, and think about now. Not the future, not the past. Now.

You want to feel like a kid again? Live in the now. Go get ice cream! Play video games! Make time for fun and friends! Go out and meet with others, try to make some new friends!..
