Vintage VW Beetles have a tunnel running down the middle of them. Inside the tunnel are the brake lines, accelerator cable, clutch cable, heater controls, heater on/off, emergency brake, and fuel line. Our beetle had some big holes cut which allowed us to see inside. Hopefully this helps you with your vintage bug project!
