April in Toronto - 2023

This past April had it all! We started with it being cold and rainy. Then we had record breaking temperatures - 30C! Before we knew it it was snowing again. Then rain. Then hail. Then more rain. If you visit Toronto in April be sure to bring layers and check out your weather app before arriving.
If you like sports, we had them all. The Raptors finished their season at the beginning of April. The Blue Jays had their home opener. The Maple Leafs were in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. And the Toronto FC had a few home games (but it was raining and I didn't want to go over and film them).
There was also the One-of-A-Kind Craft Show; the Lumiere Light Festival and the Stationery Show.
There were other events, including Easter, all over the city. The crowds go up and down - around Easter is also Spring Break for some schools, so that week tends to be busier. But otherwise, it is good to time visit in terms of crowds, if you are okay with temperature swings of 30C and rain.
