About this video: In late June of 2024, I spent some time in central Ohio in the city of Worthington (which is just north of Columbus). While I was there, I took videos of trains passing by along the two Class I freight railroad lines that run through town parallel to each other, separated by only a few feet: Norfolk Southern’s Sandusky District and CSX’s Columbus Subdivision. All videos here were filmed in the vicinity of Worthington’s three railroad crossings which are located on East Wilson Bridge Road, Worthington Galena Road, and Schrock Road. Some highlights include NS 171 with the Virginian heritage unit + leased locomotives being transported, NS 18W with the Wabash heritage unit leading, and some foreign power off of the BNSF from the west.
