There is so much beauty growing and blooming on our fertile creative breeding ground that it cannot be kept, our Lievelab organizes and facilitates an abundance of true alchemy and pure art of living. Artists in residence, Bedford Sessions, Hocus Focus, Campfire Sessions, Radio Lievelinge, deejays & poets, everything in between and much more.

It arises in the moment, and is over before you know it, often we only have the stories, sometimes a photo, sometimes a recording, but usually it is only completely NOW, beautiful.

Last season we started with our cautious attempt to immortalize the magic of the De Lievelinge, this season our producer Yannic Justus turned videographer, and we invited a next generation of our favorite artists to participate in our second season of Lievelinge Live!
Intimate Lievelinge performances ± 20 minutes of music recorded in one take with one camera.

Bjarke's dynamic folk music has found a fertile basis in the Low Countries.
Musically it varies from beautiful, soft folk ballads with elegant instrumental arrangements to more unpolished and cheerful acoustic rock compositions. His lyrics relentlessly search for beauty in the midst of the grime of our modern Western society.
During his performances, Bjarke expresses a rare and subtle sincerity, leaving his audience with a touch of unpolished truth. For his Lievelinge Live session, he chose tap dancer Merel Bouwman to accompany him rhythmically.
